If you have seen The Choir programme on television you will know how people with no formal singing training pulled off some amazing performances after just a few weeks of learning some parts. Could you be like them? Further to our general invitation (see join us) we are looking for men in both lower and higher ranges (basses, but especially tenors) to join the Society. If you can read music it helps but it is not essential, you will pick up the basics as you go along. All we ask is a couple of hours a week. Once you’ve experienced taking part in a concert you’ll be hooked: there is nothing more rewarding than hearing the applause at the end!
